ECRG Tilden and Edward Shands
EECD is leading two ECRG-funded environmental cleanups in Oakland — active remediation at Edward Shands and assessment at Tilden — targeting legacy contamination affecting soil, water, and public health. On May 1, 2025, EECD hosted a community meeting at 3940 High St, covering project updates, timelines, and open Q&A. EECD remains committed to transparency and ongoing community engagement.
Brothers Retreat - Walk 2024
During our 2024 Retreat, daily walks became sacred ground. What began as simple movement turned into moments of deep brotherhood—honest conversations about life, health, purpose, and the sustaining power of God’s grace. Step by step, we found clarity, healing, and renewed strength. In laughter, prayer, and reflection, we were reminded that growth happens not only in sessions, but in shared journeys.

Say What? #1
This quarterly column will be dedicated to the members of Brother-to-Brother to provide them a forum to discuss their various interests or their reflections of current events. This first column is dedicated to our brothers who passed on.

Say What? #2
Thoughts on courage bestowed upon us from our creator. Calls on believers to courage, reminding them that while the mission is greater than any warrior, it is never greater than the Creator. Rooted in faith, brotherhood, and lived experience, it proclaims hope over defeat and joy beyond suffering. Guided by God’s hand, strengthened through prayer and mentorship, we are called not just to live—but to thrive in service, righteousness, and mercy.
